There is now a Korean edition of Talking with Angels. It was released in June 2018 in the 'Soul Library' collection of a major Korean publisher. It's the 21e language into which the book has been translated since its first publication in 1976, in French.

The translation is the work of Bang Hai Ja, a well-known Korean painter who lives in France, and her husband Alexandre Guillemoz. Together, they had already published in 2014 a Korean translation of Morgen – Dawn, messages from the angel Morgen transmitted by Hanna Dallos in German from December 1943 to February 1944.

Translate Talking with Angels was a long-term undertaking, which took them ten years to bring to fruition. Eight versions followed one another, interspersed with rereadings by friends living in Korea, because the Korean language has evolved a lot since Hai Ja arrived in France in 1961.

This translation represented a challenge, because it is the first on the Asian continent, in a culture different from the Judeo-Christian culture from which the Dialogs are from. They thus chose not to put the word "angel" in the title, the angel being a figure foreign to Korean culture and too attached to Christianity, whose followers, approximately 25 {124e548c0c036308b7597490134b369ee48a128e5dff1c887b141ac081cfaf96} of the population, have an image controversial in the country. With the editor, they thought that message of light would be more apt to unite, in a society where half of the people live outside of any religious tradition. However, they kept the word “angel” when it is the angels who speak, when for example they say: “We are Angels. Our word is truth, since we are by HIM. Otherwise, they instead used "master" to refer to them.

Excerpt from the preface

“Since the publication of this book in 1976 until today, our couple reads this message of light every day, it is the root of our common life. This astonishing, marvelous teaching opens our hearts to light and induces in us a surprising change of consciousness of spiritual life. This book is like a dawn song to a new world. We started in 2007 the Korean language translation in order to share it with those who live like us in this world of darkness and suffering. After correcting the four hundred pages of the translation eight times, we completed the manuscript in June 2016. We thank from the bottom of our hearts all those who helped us improve the translation and edit this book.

This era of the massacre of the Jews of Hungary brings to mind not only the tragedy of the long and fierce hold of the Japanese Empire on Korea, but also the drama of the fratricidal war supported by foreign forces which divided the country in two.

We wish that these messages open a new world of light.

Light is life, life is love, love is peace. Is this light not the light of love which begins, each morning at dawn, to awaken in our heart? »
