En l'honneur de Gitta Mallasz  reconnue righteous among the nations, them Daimon editions publish  Morgen – Dawn, un petit livre qui regroupe des entretiens inédits en français. C’est une édition bilingue, dont la couverture a été conçue à partir d'une aquarelle de Gitta.

Il s'agit des messages de l'ange Morgen transmis par Hanna Dallos en allemand de décembre 1943 à février 1944 et transcrits par Gitta. Ils s'adressaient à un ami d'enfance de cette dernière, hongrois pro-nazi engagé dans les Waffen-SS. Morgen est le seul ange à avoir révélé son nom (Morgen possède deux sens en allemand : adverbe, il signifie « demain » ; nom, il signifie « matin »).

These interviews already appear in the German and Hungarian editions of the Dialogues with the angel and Patrice van Eersel told their story in The white source. Mais ils n'avaient jamais été publiés en français, Gitta n'étant pas satisfaite des quelques essais de traduction qu'elle avait entrepris.

The poet Pierre Emmanuel, to whom Gitta had sent these poems in German, had been struck by "their mysterious clarity, untranslatable because of the extraordinary conciseness of their language".

La présente traduction, signée par Elena Hinshaw-Fischli et Eric Lombard, s'efforce de restituer le rythme et la concision de l’allemand tout en collant au plus près au sens des mots.
