Extract from Michel Cazenave's interview with Gitta Mallasz in his film The Scribe of Angels :

Michel Cazenave : We have the impression that for you, nature is almost a living being.

Gitta Mallasz : It's me, if I can say it, it's me. I feel a much stronger relationship with nature than with people. (Nature) is like my body.

MC: It feels like you have some kind of intimacy there.

GM: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. It's very curious…, it's very curious, but I suffer with the Earth. It's not just an advantage, I'm suffering especially now, my God. I suffer in my body, instinctively, it's not in my head.

MC: And you feel that man has duties towards this Earth that bears him?

G.M: Yes, oh la la! Wow! He's responsible! Otherwise, he'll perish if he doesn't take care of the Earth - that's our base.

MC: And you have the impression, if I am following you correctly, that there will be a sort of general communion, if we can say so, between the…

GM: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, people are going to wake up to their responsibility towards the Earth, as in the same place that they are awakening to the responsibility towards the Angel, towards the Light. It's always up and down at the same time. It's a same

MC: But then, to lead this life like that in which you go from effort to effort and at the same time from progress to progress, is that something that makes you happy?

GM: Yes of course, it's great, it's an adventure! I don't understand why the
people are so unhappy. They delight in their misfortune. Every misfortune shows where we could come out of our misfortune. So if we look at misfortune, it becomes a blessing, it's always activating. People say, “Oh us, that's terrible! It is society that is responsible, it is the parents who are responsible. Everyone is responsible, except yourself.

MC: Precisely, to have rediscovered your vocation of becoming responsible for yourself...

GM: Yes,

MC: because the Angel tells you to become responsible...

GM: Yes.

MC: Does it give you, like that, a kind of gaiety in life?

GM: But of course, of course! And even ! The Angel teaches us to love the Earth, to love the products of the Earth, to live a joyful life. The Angel says “Joy is the air of the New World. So whining like a wet rag: "Ah, but me, I'm nothing, I can't succeed", that the Angel is irritated by.
