A reader of Talking with Angels<\/em> shares his meditation on a message in German from the angel Morgen intended for a relative of Gitta Mallasz who had enlisted in the SS, but which is addressed to all of us, humans.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The cell at the back of the eye
\ncan't see clearly.
\nBlindly she serves.
\nYou, you are not a cell,
\nyou are eye.
\nServe!
\nBe source
\nnew wave
\nIn the universe.
\nanimal eyes
\ndrink.
\nYou are neither animal,
\nnor ornamental,
\nman,
\nyou DELIVER!
\nYou can conquer the night.
\nThe wave carries the ray in the valley
\nwhere the blind writhe in pain.
\nYour eyes shine:
\nThe pain ceases.

What does this text tell me that I never tire of reciting to myself?<\/p>\n

The cell at the back of the eye cannot see clearly.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Biological analogy. The cell at the back of the eye, the retinal cell, does not see for itself. What allows an animal or man to see is the organ, the eye, and even the visual system as a whole. It is the cooperation between the cells of the eye, between different organs (eye, nerve, brain), which has allowed the emergence of a new property of life, the ability to see.<\/p>\n

I am not a cell, not a simple cog.
\nI am eye, collaboration of cells, I see.
\nThe cell at the bottom of the eye is not conscious, only the conscious \u201cI\u201d sees: I see.<\/p>\n

In a society of billions of human cells, I am not a simple cell. I am eye, organ.<\/p>\n

The cell serves<\/em> blindly, she is just a cog, like the SS in Hitler's service.
\nBut if I'm eye, I can to serve<\/em> (to something, to make myself useful).
\nNDT: the word to serve<\/em> comes back twice, but in different directions. In German, these are two different verbs: \u201cdienen\u201d, to serve (a master) and \u201ctaugen\u201d, to serve for something.<\/p>\n

He who serves blindly does not see the light. He relies on his master who sees for him. You have to be free to see, to access the clarity of co-birth (**).<\/p>\n

\u201cThe eyes of animals drink, but your eyes shine\u201d<\/h2>\n

I am not just an animal. The animal's eye is a passive sensor. It is thanks to him and his other sensory sensors that the animal survives.<\/p>\n

I am not ornamental. I am not on earth to tapestry, but to act. Not to drink (in German, \u201csaugen\u201d, literally, \u201cto suck\u201d, \u201cto pump\u201d), but to give.<\/p>\n

- You look, but you do not shine.
\nYour eyes were not made for looking.
\nIt needs a reversal. (E8G, p. 47)<\/p>\n

All living beings are subject to genetic evolution, operating only very slowly over successive generations, ineffective on the scale of their existence. They suffer it.
\nBut unlike the animal, I can influence the course of my existence and even that of evolution.<\/p>\n

The new wave that it is given to me to radiate is a wave of love, of joy. Like the physical waves which ensure the cohesion of matter, the new wave is a force of cohesion between the human cells of a humanity in the making.<\/p>\n

The law for you is to be united,
\nand that's freedom for you.
\nSeparately, you are slaves. United you are free. (E31G, p. 188)<\/p>\n

\u201cBe a source of the new wave In the universe<\/em> \u00bb : not only in my little world, but in the whole universe.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis radiance in you has the power to awaken the blind\u201d<\/h2>\n

The light can overcome the night, deliver the blind, those who serve blindly, who are only cells. It is not a question of \u201cconverting\u201d them, but of living my life to the full: radiate, enlighten, smile\u2026<\/p>\n

The new wave produces both an individual awakening and the awakening of a collective consciousness.<\/p>\n

Awakening puts an end to suffering (the blind suffer from not seeing, but above all from the consequences of their blindness).<\/p>\n

The night collapses (literally \u201cbursts\u201d): explosive process, emergence. Second birth. It is not the night that fades away, because darkness has no reality. It is only the absence of light. This light, it is up to me to radiate it.<\/p>\n

(**) Co-birth is a neologism used by Paul Claudel and taken up by Gitta Mallasz to translate the Hungarian \u00e9rtelem (understanding, intelligence, meaning\u2026). Gitta's comment: \u201cHanna is unable to find the right word for the attraction and the union of man and matter, for the new unifying element, for want of a better word, she chooses the Hungarian word \u201c\u00e9rtelem\u201d. But the Angel goes well beyond the overly restricted meaning of this word by adding that this \u201c\u00e9rtelem\u201d is in truth Love\u201d. (Talking with Angels<\/em>, p. 343)<\/p>\n
